East Fishkill MD Tournament: 2nd Place (05/28/11)
Luckily, I think we learned from that game and went strong in the second. From the very beginning, we tried to make connections and build plays from the back. Scarsdale did what they could, many times recurring to physical play. I'm proud that we always tried to play not letting them get into our heads. We also attacked with more determination, taking the ball to the end and crossing like we have been practicing. This paid off with Ethan's beautiful goal and Oliver's goal from the sideline. The score should have been 2-0 but their late goal didn't change the story.
Finally, it was a test to see if we were going to leave with a winning record. Some players were tired but we kept the same game. The first half was great. We were 2-0 up with possession. When you make the ball run for you. it's not a coincidence that many players were not tired and had played most of the half. In the second half, we experimented with players in different positions, and unfortunately, they tied 2-2. Frankly, it made it much more exciting. The last goal we scored was worth traveling so far for a tournament. It was a beautiful goal from every angle: the connections, determination, conception of the play, and of course, finishing.
I think it was a very successful day, taking second place. I would have loved to have a second game against AG, because I think we could have beaten them. Congratulations to all players. Time for your comments now...

CJSL Game No.7 DUSC vs. Brooklyn Italians (2-1) 5/7/11
I think every game we improve in key areas, for example, we have scored 6 goals in the past 2 games.
I think our possession game keeps improving and looks very good and is fun to watch.
This gives me high hopes and makes me feel that we can take on any opponent.
Now, let's hear your comments...

Scrimmage 11v11 05/01/11
Despite the level of the opponent, I think it was a successful game.
It shows how the basics of soccer are always the same and if one works on improving those basics there is nothing to worey about.
What do you guys think?

CJSL Game No.6 Kickers vs. DUSC (6-4) 4/30/11
We did score 4 goals, something we haven't done in the season so far. 5 if you count the one the ref didn't count.
I'm curious to hear thoughts and comments from everyone.
